Sabīne Krieviņa is working in Mogotel Ltd since 2016, taking roles of Quality Assurance Director, Administrative Director and currently as Director of Project Management, being in charge of new projects, like hotel openings and takeovers, as well as renovation and development projects. Sabīne started her career at Radisson Blu Daugava Hotel, followed by a Sales Manager role in Reval Hotels in Riga. Later she became the Head of Sales & Marketing for Latvian hotel operator KOLONNA Hotels Group, then the Quality Manager at Baltic Travel Group, before joining Mogotel. Mogotel Hotel Group is hotel operator from Latvia and is the largest in Baltic Countries in the terms of hotels and rooms, with experience in growing profits and managing accommodation properties of different sizes and target markets since 2002. The company was founded in 2002 when a small hotel in Riga (Latvia) became the company’s property and then was subsequently sold. After owning and selling couple of hotel properties, company decided to concentrate just on hotel operations. Until March 2020, when covid pandemic begun and severely influenced hotel industry, company operated 17 hotels in Latvia and Estonia. In 2021 Mogotel founded a joint venture together with a state-owned development finance institution ALTUM, that gave opportunity to sign first lease contracts outside Latvia and Estonia. Company signed first franchise contract with Wyndham Hotels & Resorts and Accor for 6 hotel properties in different cities in Europe. During years 2020-2022, company started operating hotels in Poland (Wroclaw), Germany (Essen, Munich), Hungary (Budapest), Slovenia (Ljubljana), Estonia (Tallinn) and Ukraine (Kyiv). In the years 2022 and 2023 also franchise contracts with Hilton Hotels & Resorts and IHG Hotels & Resorts were signed. Work on several development projects is already ongoing. More hotels to start operations during this year. Currently, company operates 22 hotels in 8 countries. In all together, makes a team of 1400 employees.
