
Monique Dekker
Born in the Netherlands, Monique began her career with Hyatt more than 25 years ago at Grand Hyatt New York. After numerous posts, including at Hyatt in Boston, Princeton, Chicago and Singapore, Monique took on a CEO role for the first time in 2007, leading the Roppongi Hills Club in Tokyo. Her first hotel opening was Hyatt Regency Düsseldorf in 2010, before she moved to the Austrian capital in 2013 for the opening of Park Hyatt Vienna. With the Andaz Vienna Am Belvedere, Monique is now responsible for Hyatt’s Austrian portfolio, which counts two stunning properties and a Thompson hotel under construction. Since December 2019, her mandate was further extended and she is now also responsible for 6 hotels in Italy including the iconic Park Hyatt Milan, Parisi Udvar in Budapest and the recently opened Andaz Prague. She serves on the Global Diversity Equity and Inclusion Council for Hyatt and is the chair for the Women@Hyatt efforts in EAME.
