With over 25 years of experience working with big brands like Radisson, Accor Hotels, Best Westerns, Gheorghe Marian Cristescu has contributed outstanding efforts to the development of the Hospitality and Tourism industry in Poland. In 2016 In 2016, G. M. Cristescu took the position of President of the Board of Polski Holding Hotelowy, which is now the largest hotel company in the country, within Polish Capital. Cristesccu also holds a number of honerable awards, such as the “Man of the Year” by Hotelarz magazin in 2012, 2018, 2020; the Grand Prix of MT Targi Polska in 2020, and a commemorative medal of the 100th anniversary of the Polish Olympic Committee in 2022. Furthermore, President Cristesccu was awarded the Bronze Cross of Merit by the President of Poland - Andrzej Duda, and received the honor badge "For merits for tourism" awarded by the Ministry of Sport and Tourism in 2019. Cristesccu has surely marked his name in the industry as he was ranked the second most influential person in Polish tourism by Wasza Turystyka magazine in 2021 and 2022.
